On 31.07.2014 JARS Ltd. completed the execution of a risk analysis of soil and groundwater contamination at the sites of the following installations belonging to PGNiG TERMIKA S.A.:
- CHP Siekierki
- CHP Zeran,
- CHP Pruszkow,
- Wola heat station,
- Kawęczyn heat station,
- Furnace landfill "Zawada".
The completed works were related to the entry into force of the new requirements introduced by the amendment of the Environmental Law. One of the purposes of amending the Act is to implement the Directive 2010/75 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 November 2010 on industrial emissions (integrated pollution prevention and control; Journal EU L 334 of 17.12.2010), hereinafter referred to as "the IED Directive."
Under the new requirements obtaining or updating an integrated permit will be associated with the preparation of the initial report containing information on the status of soil and groundwater contamination with hazardous substances.
