The main objective of dermatological testing is to verify the final product formulation in order to eliminate irritant and allergenic substances from its composition.
List of conducted dermatological tests:
- Patch tests (Patch Test): open, semi-open, closed;
- Confirmation of hypoallergenic properties of the cosmetic;
- Evaluation of photo-toxicity and photoallergenicity (Photo Patch Test);
- Repeated Insult Patch Test (RIPT).
